Archeila R. Riley was born in Dallas, Texas to two loving and hard-working, middle class parents. At the age of 4, the family moved back to Montgomery, Alabama where she would spend the next 14 years prior to entering the military. She graduated from Sidney Lanier High School in May 1998 and left for the US Navy Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, Illinois four months later.

During her time in service, she obtained her undergraduate degree in Business Administration with a major in Management and a minor in Accounting from Saint Leo University in 2007. After serving 13 years in the US Armed Forces and completing multiple deployments, Archeila pursued further studies and obtained her MS in Accounting and Financial Management from Keller Graduate School of Management in 2016. She recently celebrated 15 years of federal service and is currently employed as a senior auditor with the Department of Defense.

Although Archeila looked well on paper and had achieved honorable accomplishments, her self value did not match the picture that everyone else was viewing. In her eyes, she was still the broken little girl who suffered from "daddy issues". Longing for the man who would always take her on road trips and give her candy; but now left her fatherless. She remembered the pain of feeling undesired and useless because of believing “she” was the reason for her parents' divorce.

Determined to find love at all costs, she became involved in relationships that would remind her of just how undeserving and worthless she felt on the inside. She had vowed to never drink because of her father suffering with alcoholism, but the pressures of life and a deep depression would cause her to drink, become suicidal, develop anger issues, and develop addictive behaviors. She married a man that she believed would "fill in" the gaps of what she had missed from her father as a young girl; only to discover that her low self-esteem would create an entrance for mental/emotional abuse and spiritual attacks.

But God! Archeila’s life experiences has not caused her to shrivel up and run in pity or defeat! Instead, she has chosen to “put on the whole armor of God” to stand against strongholds, addictions, depression, suicide, sexual promiscuity, and any and all wiles of the devil. (Ephesians 6:11). As a result of counseling, mentoring, and her personal relationship with God, she has overcome those barriers and obstacles and has reframed her life to be exactly what she desires for it to be! Archeila considers herself a lifetime student of God’s grace and a warrior of her faith.

Her passion and ultimate goal is to inspire and encourage others that suffer with depression and deflated self- images to rise from the ashes of their past and create a new reality! What happened in the past, does not have authority in the present UNLESS you send a formal invite! Archeila’s unique appeal and zeal for “winning in life” has inspired and challenged others to press the “reset button” on their mindsets and reach for greater; regardless of the pitfalls! It is her hope that she will do the same for you!
